A world that can be a little more accepting of an individual who has made poor choices if/when he/she is taking initiative to take the necessary steps to be a productive member of society. Equal employment opportunities given when a person can show rehabilitative measures were taken. I think a huge part is preparation. If given the right resources, classes, life skills, it can make all the difference. I also believe that under certain guidelines and regulations non-violent offenders should be able to keep their 2nd Amendment rights. All should be able to vote. It seems like things are moving in the right direction with programming becoming more available and employers having more incentives to hire felons. After so many years it should be a little easier to expunge felonies if promising change has been shown.
